Their main chef has decades of experience in Greek cuisine. The menu is extensive with small plates, known in Greece as Meze, traditional classics, grilled entrees, healthy seafood, vegetarian main courses and desserts.

Some of their most popular items are the Saganaki cheese appetizer, a Chicago classic which is a mild and creamy salted Kefalograviera cheese grilled and broiled to bubbling perfection doused with brandy ignited and subdued with a twist of lemon juice. Some like to have the cheese on it's own, but it is also excellent smothered on the Greek bread brought fresh to every table. Other top selections are the Lamb Chop Dinner with choices of Greek potato, rice pilaf and simmered vegetables of the day. On the seafood menu the Sea Bass with Lemon Dipping Sauce is popular as is the Greek Broiled Salmon Steak with Sauteed Spinach. Popular vegetarian options are the Spanakopita Spinach Herb and Cheese Pie Dinner, and the Vegetarian Mousaka which is layered scalloped potato, vegetables, fresh tomato sauce, herbs and spices with a topping of Bechamel cream sauce baked to bubbling deliciousness.

The friendly and professional waitstaff help the patrons plan their meal, whether it be multi course or a quick snack. Papaspiros has also an extensive and refreshing luncheon menu including fresh salads with additions such as Calamari, Salmon, Chicken and Gyros. They also boast a large sandwich menu vegetarian and meat. Iced tea is fresh, and they have a full service bar as well.

One of the beautiful features of the restaurant as well is their Sunday brunch.
