Pecan Pie for the Holidays

Pecan Pie Recipe
Ingredients
One half cup Granulated Sugar
Three Jumbo Eggs
One cup Maple Syrup
One half cup melted Butter
One teaspoon Vanilla Extract
One half teaspoon Salt
One cup halved or chopped Pecans
One recipe for uncooked Pie Crust
Method
1. In a large non reactive bowl mix your Sugar, Eggs, Syrup, melted Butter, Vanilla Extract and the Salt.
2. Preheat your oven to 350 F and place your rolled out pie crust into a greased deep pie plate.
3. Mix in your pecans to the mixture in step one and decorate the top if you like with some extra. Bake for 45 minutes to one hour and allow to cool. Your pie will solidify naturally upon cooling.
Serve plain or with whipped cream or ice cream.
